EncryptFile

Description:

 baEncryptFile encrypts/decrypts a file.

Platforms:

 Windows and Macintosh

Usage:

 Result = baEncryptFile( FileName, Key )

Arguments:

String, string.
FileName is the file to encrypt/decrypt.
Key is the string to use as the encryption key.

Returns:

 Integer.
Returns 1 if successful, else 0.

Examples:

Director:
OK = baEncryptFile( "d:\results.dat" , "This is my key" )

Authorware:
OK := baEncryptFile( "d:\results.dat" , "This is my key" )
 

Notes:

This function uses an xor routine to encrypt a file. To decrypt the file, run the function again using the same key. This will return it to it's original state.
